Before breeding our first Lundehund litter, I read a lot about dog breeding, genetics, anatomy and the breed standard of the Lundehund. I used the internet for researching, but I've also read some books. some of these books are a great source:

  • Lundehundboka - Ingvild Espelien;
  • Born to Win, Breed to Succeed - Patricia Craige;
  • An Eye for a Dog - Robert W. Cole;
  • De Geboorte bij de Hond en zijn Wilde Verwanten - C. Naaktgeboren;
  • Dogs In Motion (incl. DVD) - Martin S. Fischer & Karin E. Lilje;
  • Control of Canine Genetic Diseases - George A. Padgett Page;
  • Natural Rearing: Breeding & Raising Dogs The Way Nature Intended - Dr. Jeannie (Jeanette) Thomason;
  • Early Neurological Stimulation - Carmen L. Battaglia (opens in PDF)
